There is no modern reproduction here. This is another important measure to prevent pregnancy. An adult needs to take a good look at the egg in order to receive technology next year that solves this problem at the cellular level.
Mitochondrial replacement therapy (MRT) is an innovative method known to prevent the transmission of inherited diseases. This year my first protocol will be addressed to women over 40 years old. Perhaps the death of the mother was due to genetic material.
The meaning of technology: “Rejuvenation” of the egg
The main reason for age-related infertility lies in the depletion of the energy resource of the egg. Over the years, mitochondria (the "powerhouses" of the cell) work less well, leading to chromosomal errors.
The essence of the MRT procedure is to replace defective mitochondria with healthy ones from a donor, while preserving the main DNA of the unborn child.

How it works: Two main protocols
In both cases, a “reconstructed” egg is obtained, ready for development.
Maternal spindle transfer (MST): Performed before fertilization. The nucleus (spindle) is removed from the egg of the expectant mother and transferred to a donor egg from which its own nucleus has been previously removed. Pronuclear Transfer (PNT): Performed after fertilization. When two nuclei (from the mother and from the father) are formed in the fertilized egg of the patient, they are carefully transferred to the donor cell.
Depending on the clinical situation and stage of development, we use one of two highly accurate methods:
Advantages of the method: Genetic relatedness without compromise
Preservation of the parental genotype. A child receives 99.9% of its genetic information (nuclear DNA) from its parents. The donor transfers only 0.1% - only mitochondrial DNA, which is responsible for the energy of cells, but does not affect the appearance or health of the baby. Overcoming the age factor. We give a "second life" to the patient’s own oocytes, compensating for their energy weakness. Success where IVF fails. The method is indicated for patients with repeated unsuccessful IVF attempts due to poor oocyte quality.
Previously, women with age-related infertility were often offered only IVF with a donor egg. MRT opens a new era of personalized medicine:
