Who can be an egg donor?
Oocyte donation is one of the methods of reproductive technologies, in which a healthy woman provides her donor eggs (oocytes) to other couples or women who cannot conceive on their own for various health reasons.

Oocyte donation allows many couples to realize their dream of having a healthy child and feel the joy of motherhood.
Who can be an egg donor?
A woman can become an egg donor if she meets the following requirements:

  1. Age: from 18 to 29 years old. This is the optimal age for donation when the eggs are healthiest. Also, her IMT should not be greater than 27 and her AMH should not be less than 3.5.
  2. Health: The donor should be in good physical and mental health. The donor should be free of chronic diseases, infections (e.g., HIV, hepatitis), and hereditary pathologies.
  3. Reproductive function: the woman should have a normal menstrual cycle, regular ovulation, and no reproductive health problems.
  4. Psychological readiness: the donor should be aware of the consequences, realize that after egg donation she will have no rights to a future child, and accept this.
  5. Medical examinations: mandatory tests for infections, genetic diseases, and a general examination of the reproductive system.
  6. Genetic testing: the donor undergoes appropriate testing to rule out possible hereditary diseases.
  7. Absence of bad habits.
  8. The last donation was at least 3 months ago.
  9. If she is not breastfeeding.
